1) Power source: The power source of the high-pressure pump of the Airless paint sprayer includes compressed air drive, electric drive, and diesel engine drive. Generally, it is driven by compressed air, and the operation is relatively simple and safe. Shipyards are powered by compressed air. Devices that use compressed air as a power source include air compressors (or air storage tanks), compressed air delivery pipelines, valves, oil-water separators, and the like.
(2) Spray gun: Airless spray gun consists of gun body, nozzle, filter, trigger, gasket, connecting parts, etc. The airless spray gun has only a paint channel, no compressed air channel, and requires the paint channel to have excellent sealing and high pressure resistance, and no leakage of pressurized high-pressure paint. The gun body should be light, the trigger should be easy to open and close, and the operation should be flexible. There are many types of airless spray guns, such as hand-held spray guns, long-bar spray guns, automatic spray guns, etc. The hand-held spray gun is light in structure and easy to operate, and can be used for various airless spraying operations in fixed and unfixed occasions.
(1) Airless paint sprayer is selected according to the characteristics of the paint: first, the viscosity of the paint should be considered. For high-viscosity and difficult-to-atomize paints, equipment with a high pressure ratio or a heating system should be used. Two-component coatings, water-based coatings, zinc-rich coatings and other special coatings should use special equipment.
(2) Airless paint sprayer is selected according to the condition of the painted workpiece and the production batch: this is the main factor for selecting equipment. For small workpieces to be coated or small batches, the models with a small amount of paint spraying are generally selected. For large workpieces and large batches such as ships, bridges, automobiles, and continuous automatic painting lines, models with large spraying amount of paint can be selected. Generally, the spray volume of paint < 2L/min is small, 2L/min-10L/min is medium, and > 10L/min is large.
